This restaurant divides opinions among health geeks in Hong Kong, and my own experiences are have not been always positive either. The interior is cozy, I especially love the rooftop terrace for dining. Location is perfect in Soho, next to escalators. Shortly, I love the food, menu and interior but the service is often terrible. I have often been almost kicked out around 9.30 pm, and also often being not able to order dessert anymore, without warning of last order.
The Life salad is delicious. Burgers are worth trying too. Carrot cake is delicious, chocolate cakes not so much. Raw chocolate balls are heavenly!
Life has also a take away branch in Wan Chai. The same goes with this restaurant. The food is so-so – one of the best/only healthy options you can find in Wan Chai but the food is not mind-blowing. The vegetables are not organic nor super fresh, though they so claim. Still, I will happily pick up my lunch here if I’m at the neighbourhoods. Try the falafels! Price/quality is good, we got a huge lunch for 3 with 50HKD. In the restaurant the prices range from 90-130 per main dish.
